Our Story
Edo Japan is what fresh is all about – hot, fast and delicious food, prepared in a traditional Teppan-style, locking in the goodness of the freshest ingredients.
Edo Japan’s sweet Teriyaki Sauce is created from a time-honoured recipe. This delicious sauce is made fresh daily in each restaurant, and served warm over all of our stir-fried Teppan-style meals.
Our signature dishes, Sukiyaki Beef and Teriyaki Chicken, are the cornerstones of the Edo Japan menu. We have expanded to include shrimp, yakisoba noodles, udon soup, sushi and other delicious fresh creations.

Edo Japan was born of community four decades ago in Calgary, serving teppan-style teriyaki meals with a signature sauce. Today we continue to enrich communities where we live. We’ve grown to over 130 locations across Canada serving fresh choices, fresh made and fresh to go.
