Our Story
OUR HISTORY
Vitality Health Foods was founded in 1993 with a single store in the Londonderry Mall in Edmonton, Alberta. With a visionary leader, a great team, and with the help of our fantastic suppliers and the love of our incredible customers, we have grown to a chain of 20 stores in the Edmonton and surrounding area.
We use our extensive buying power to provide the most affordable health food products and pass those savings onto our customers. We aim to be an information resource for our customers, and to always have you leaving our store with a smile!
OUR VISION
With “customer obsession” as our founding principle, we have always been devoted to our customers, and together we have now grown to 20 stores to serve you closer to where you live.
All of our staff are put through an intensive training regime including a “crash course” that involves lectures from experts provided by our suppliers, a tremendous amount of reading materials, sampling a wide selection of our products, and on the job training.
Vitality Health Foods takes an extra effort to make sure that each of our staff have extensive product knowledge and are able to provide useful information to help our customers find the right health food products. We also provide numerous samples to our staff and encourage them to try a full range of our products so that they are always providing first hand knowledge.
